Innovation, tenant company in YES, won the tender of the Government of R Macedonia for delivering trainings for computer skills
The tenant company Innovation won the tender of the Government of Republic of Macedonia for providing free trainings for more than 7000 citizens for using PCs. This tender is part of the big campaign of the Government , “Macedonia country of Information Technology”. With this tender, Innovation will train 7 854 citizens for basic using of PCs, packages for office and Internet.
New tenants in the Incubator
Software Laboratory is a new company that will sale already established software products such as fax servers (www.activefax.com.mk), CRM, CMS and E-Commerce Applications (www.creacity.com.mk and www.gatewaytechnolabs.com). The company DIS – DATA is the second company that work as a reseller of hardware and development of software application that will support the marketing business i.e. e-marketing. This application will incorporate modules for electronic surveys, Bluetooth advertising, sms advertising, kiosk advertising and etc. The third company that will start in September is AdvertSMS which will work m-marketing (mobile marketing).
Trainings for the YES tenants
In terms of improving the tenant’s business skills, two group trainings were organized for the tenant companies. The subjects of the trainings were “How to create and structure a good presentation” and “How to become a desirable partner” and were held by Trajkovski & Partners consulting company. The first training was two day training and was both theoretical, and practical. As part of the second day, every tenant had to give a presentation in front of the others, that was evaluated by different criteria, such as communication with the audience, the structure of the presentation, intonation of the voice etc. Every presenter received positive critics, in order to improve their presentation skills. At the end there was only one winner, the company Advert SMS, that got the best grades and received symbolic award.
The second training was “How to become a desirable partner” and was a guide for the tenants that want to become partners in their business. With these trainings the tenants had an opportunity to expand their skills and use them in everyday business activities.
Roger Cowdrey, an experienced professor, business consultant and incubator manager from UK, had two hour group training with the tenants. The topic was “Ten top tips for successful business”, in which he pointed out some useful tips for the tenants, in order to make their business more successful, i.e. profitable. At the training participated all the tenants and Mr. Cowdrey, as an enthusiastic speaker, made the training very motivational and positive for the tenants.

Through its activities, YES will stimulate entrepreneurship and new firm creation among well-educated youth in Macedonia in order to:
